Your data,
your business.
QuickRep is built with privacy in mind. We collect only what's needed to make the app work — nothing more.
Last updated: April 7, 2025
- Your workout data is stored on your device and synced via your personal iCloud account — we never see it.
- We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data.
- We do not run ads or use third-party ad trackers.
- Anonymous crash reports may be collected to fix bugs, with no personal information attached.
- You can delete all your data at any time, directly from the app.
1Who we are
QuickRep is an iOS fitness tracking application developed and maintained as an independent app. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at contact@quick-rep.app.
2Data we collect
We collect as little data as possible. Here is a complete list of what the app handles:
- Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, weight, and timestamps that you log in the app. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your private iCloud account.
- App preferences — settings like your chosen accent theme, rest timer defaults, and unit preference (kg/lbs). Stored locally on your device.
- Crash & diagnostic reports — if you opt in via iOS settings, Apple may share anonymized crash logs with us through App Store Connect. These contain no personally identifiable information.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, health metrics from HealthKit, or any other personal identifiers unless you contact us directly.
3How we use your data
Your workout data exists solely to power the features you use — logging, history, progress charts, and personal records. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than making the app function as described.
Anonymized crash reports, if shared with us by Apple, are used only to identify and fix software bugs.
4iCloud sync
QuickRep uses Apple's CloudKit framework to optionally sync your data across your Apple devices. When iCloud sync is enabled:
- Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple.
- Data is stored in your personal iCloud account — QuickRep has no access to it.
- Apple's iCloud privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy
You can disable iCloud sync at any time in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → QuickRep.
5Third-party services
QuickRep does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or social media trackers.
The only third-party service involved is Apple's own infrastructure (App Store distribution, CloudKit, and optional crash reporting via Xcode Organizer), all of which are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
6Data retention & deletion
Your workout data lives on your device (and optionally in your iCloud account). You are in full control of it at all times.
- To delete individual workouts, swipe left on any entry in the History tab.
- To delete all data, go to Settings → Delete All Data inside the app. This is immediate and irreversible.
- Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data. iCloud data can be removed via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
7Children's privacy
QuickRep is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
8Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
